Nokia brand under the HMD Global has launched its new smartphone in the chinese market named Nokia 7. It comes in two variants 4 GB and 6 GB having internal storage of 64 GB on both the variants and it can be expanded with the Micro SD card. It is the first smartphone by nokia with glass back body. The Nokia 7 measures 141.2 x 71.45 x 7.92 mm and sports an Aluminum frame with vacuum molded 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the back. The Nokia 7 comes with aspect ratio of 16:9 but the fingerprint sensor is now placed on the rear side below the camera.
This phone has 5.2 inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and the front side is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Coming on the Processor side, it has 14nm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and is powered with Adreno 508 GPU. Talking about the Camera, it comes with 16 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and dual-tone LED flash and a 5 MP sensor with f/2.0 and 84-degree field-of-view on the front. Same as the Successor Nokia 8, Nokia 7 also comes with ZEISS optics and supports bothies feature by using front and rear cameras simultaneously. It also includes the Nokia OZO audio technology for recording the 360-degree audio. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Unlike the global variants, the Chinese variants of Nokia smartphones come with a custom UI.
It is backed by a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery and supports 9V/2A (18W) fast charging. On the connectivity side, the Nokia 7 includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The large bezel beneath the display holds the three capacitive navigation buttons.It will be available in Black and White color options. The device is currently available to pre-order and the shipping begins from October 24th. The price of both the variants of this phone in the chinese market is 2499 Yuan and 2699 Yuan respectively.
